Vision and Mission
The roadmap to success
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan will develop and promote exports holistically, through focus, synergy and with the collective wisdom and counsel of its stakeholders. In addition to aggressive, innovative and proactive marketing and promotional efforts, it will achieve the objective of rapid export growth through interaction and coordination with respective Government and non-government stakeholders to achieve in Pakistan, for its products and services, a clear sense of direction and prioritization. Enhanced capability and capacity of the supply base of goods and services; fostering a supportive export culture and facilitation, will encourage enhanced export-oriented foreign investment and joint ventures. TDAP will also help improve market access through advising the Government on matters of trade diplomacy, leading and promoting the ‘business’ image of Pakistan in the key export markets for Pakistani products and services the world over.
TDAP’s mandate is to maximize exports. This remit will be more holistic than simple export promotion. With the right skills and competencies, state-of-the-art management techniques, assistance of targeted research and fact-based marketing approach, use of technology and proactive result oriented initiatives will help deliver the desired action and facilitation required for success of exporters. The TDAP will be an ISO Certified organization with structured processes to deliver quality assured and speedy services to the key stakeholders.
TDAP will engender a high level of motivation amongst its staff as they see themselves embark on upwardly mobile career paths within a TPO environment. It will help them significantly enhance their abilities and will ascertain their personal growth along defined career paths helping them contribute progressively to the larger goal of achieving economic prosperity. Working in a world class organization they will acquire an experience base of dealing with issues and opportunities on a global canvass including the projection of the country image and managing perceptions about the country of origin of the exports and services from Pakistan.
