In its ever-continuing quest for the promotion of Pakistani products in foreign markets, the Trade Development Authority has taken a step in the right direction by opening a new Export Display Centre in the impressive Finance & Trade Centre. Located conveniently on Sharae- Faisal, at a distance of 15 Kms from the airport and close proximity to the leading hotels in Karachi, The display centre is spacious and centrally air-conditioned.
The Display Centre is a show-window for Pakistani goods for the outside world and the nucleus of all future trade transactions between foreign buyers and local manufacturers more than 250 of whom are represented here.
The centre has a few clear-cut objectives. It is geared towards providing valuable information and assistance to foreign importers and local exporter alike. The centre help to acquaint local manufacturers with current trends in foreign markets. It also helps them to best modify their products accordingly. Another important function the current performs is to introduce foreign buyers to local exporter; thus sparing the latter from the necessity of making expensive trips abroad. At the production stage too, the export display centre keeps a strict eye on quality control and ensures that the consignment is delivered on time.
The Export Display Centre offers a unique opportunity foreign buyers to view a very wide range of Pakistani craftsmanship and skill in one place and makes them aware of the great potential of Pakistani products.
The Trade Development Authority, through the Export Display Centre has managed to attract a large number of those buyers who previously had been either sceptical of the quality of Pakistani products or had no easy access to them.
